Terms of Service

These terms apply when you create an account or use WorkPyro. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it.

2. What WorkPyro provides

WorkPyro helps you prepare CVs, job applications, interview material, and job postings. AI-generated suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing anything you use or submit, including dates, qualifications, and claims about your experience.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the information and documents you add to WorkPyro. You give us permission to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service you request. Do not upload content that you do not have the right to use.

4. Plans, usage, and payments

Free Starter is included when you create an eligible account. Its expiry date is shown in your account. Standard currently costs $5.99 per month and includes a new allowance for each successfully paid billing period.

Pyro features draw from the usage included with your plan. The percentage used depends on actual processing and can vary by task. Unused monthly usage expires at the end of its billing period and does not roll over. Usage is personal to your account, cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash, and is not a stored-value or financial product.

Active Standard subscribers may buy a $4.99 refill when their remaining usage is at or below the threshold shown in their account, currently 10%. Refills can be bought more than once, but only sequentially after usage returns to the threshold. A refill expires at 00:00 UTC on the first day of the month after the first full calendar month following purchase. For example, a refill bought during January expires on March 1.

Consumer prices are tax-inclusive where applicable. Stripe processes payment and shows the final price, billing interval, renewal terms, and tax treatment before you place an order.

5. Renewal and cancellation

Standard starts after successful payment and renews automatically each month until canceled. There is no minimum commitment. You can cancel at any time through the billing portal in WorkPyro or by contacting us using the details below.

For monthly advance payments, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. We will not charge another renewal after cancellation takes effect. Existing usage remains available until its stated expiry, but a subscription scheduled to end cannot buy new refills.

Requesting account deletion immediately removes your access and schedules any active subscription to end. Remaining paid time and usage are not normally refunded solely because you chose to delete the account, except where mandatory law or these terms give you a refund right. Signing back in during the deletion waiting period can restore the account, but it does not restart a subscription that has ended.

6. Withdrawal, refunds, and service problems

If you are a consumer purchasing at a distance, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a paid agreement within 14 days after it is entered into. To exercise that right, send us an unambiguous statement by email or post before the deadline. You may use the official Norwegian withdrawal form, but it is not required.

At Checkout, you expressly request that WorkPyro make the paid service or refill available immediately. Where permitted by law, you may be responsible for the proportion of the service supplied before you told us that you were withdrawing, and the withdrawal right may end after a service has been fully performed with the required consent and acknowledgement.

Ordinary cancellation does not normally produce a partial refund for a billing period that has already started. This does not limit mandatory rights relating to withdrawal, failed or delayed delivery, defects, price reductions, termination, or refunds. Contact us promptly if paid usage was not delivered or the service did not work as agreed so we can investigate and provide the remedy required by law.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, try to bypass access controls, disrupt other users, submit unlawful content, or use WorkPyro to deceive employers or applicants. We may restrict or deactivate accounts when needed to protect users, the service, or comply with law.

8. Inactive accounts and deletion

We treat an account as inactive when it has had no recorded WorkPyro activity for 365 consecutive days. We will send a warning to the account email address at least 30 days before permanent deletion. Signing in and using WorkPyro during the warning period resets the inactivity period.

If the account remains inactive, we may permanently delete the account and its associated user content after 365 days. A warning sent late because of a delivery or service problem will extend the deadline so that at least 30 days remain before deletion.

If you request account deletion yourself, the account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion after 90 days. You may cancel that deletion by signing in again during the 90-day period.

Some limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or a legal obligation. Those records are not kept as an active WorkPyro account.

9. Service, price, and term changes

We may maintain, update, or change WorkPyro and do not promise uninterrupted availability. Changes to a continuing paid service will be made only where these terms and applicable law allow them. If a change materially disadvantages you, we will give reasonable advance notice on a durable medium and explain any right to cancel or terminate without additional cost.

Price changes apply only to future billing periods. We will notify you before a higher recurring price takes effect so you can cancel before the affected renewal. If we make a material change to these terms, we will post the revised terms, update the date above, and notify account holders when required.

10. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live are not limited by this section.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint. Norwegian consumers may also ask the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) to mediate an eligible dispute. You may use any other mandatory complaint or court process available under applicable law.

11. Operator and contact

WorkPyro is operated by VENSIO AS, organization number 936 978 517, Kaldslettneset 8, 9020 Tromsdalen, Norway. Telephone: +1 (267) 710-9469.
